Which cookies this site sets, what each one does, and how to change your answer. There are five in total, and every one of them is named below.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device. They’re commonly used to make sites work, remember preferences, and measure how a site is used.
How we use them
The VISUAILS website is largely static. By default we only use essential cookies needed for the site to function and to remember your privacy choices. We do not load advertising or tracking cookies without your consent.
- Essential — basic functionality and security. Always on.
- Analytics — anonymous usage measurement. Only with your consent.
What we actually set today
Naming them is more useful than describing categories, so here they are in full. This is the complete list.
vis_account— keeps you signed in to VISUAILS Studio after you click the sign-in link in your email. Essential. Expires after 30 days, or when you sign out.vis_consent— remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner, so we stop asking. Essential, and the reason a refusal sticks. Expires after 12 months, when we ask again.vis_lang— remembers whether you read VISUAILS Studio in Dutch or English, set only when you use the language switch there. Essential. Expires after 12 months.vis_nav— remembers whether you collapsed the menu in VISUAILS Studio, set only when you click that button. Essential. Expires after 12 months.vis_thema— remembers whether you chose the light or the dark screen in VISUAILS Studio, set only when you use that switch. Essential. Expires after 12 months.
That is all five. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party embeds, and no analytics unless you switch it on — at which point it is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is itself cookieless and sets nothing on your device. We share nothing with anyone.
Managing cookies
Use the link — it is in the footer of every page — to change your answer at any time, including withdrawing a yes. Refusing is exactly as easy as accepting and costs you nothing: the site works identically either way. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the essential ones will stop the client portal remembering you.
